Terms of Service
Using Goodfolk
These Terms of Service govern access to Goodfolk’s website and AI marketplace operations services. By using the services, you agree to these terms. If you use Goodfolk for a business, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that business. You must be at least 18 years old
The service
Goodfolk helps customers maintain marketplace data through catalog cleanup, product research, image preparation, and related operations. Features, supported connections, usage limits, and support are defined by your subscription or written agreement. A signed order form or service agreement takes priority where it expressly conflicts with these terms
Accounts and database access
You are responsible for your account, the people you authorize to use it, and the permissions you grant to connected systems. Only connect databases, websites, files, and other resources you are entitled to use. Limit access to the data and actions needed for the agreed work, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access
Customer data and instructions
You retain your rights in the data, documents, images, and other content you provide or make accessible to Goodfolk. You authorize us to process that content to provide the service, follow your instructions, maintain the service, and meet legal obligations. You are responsible for obtaining the permissions and notices required to make that content available. Where Goodfolk processes personal data on your behalf, the applicable data-processing agreement governs that processing
AI output and approvals
AI-generated results can be incomplete or incorrect. Goodfolk may propose changes and, where enabled and authorized, apply them according to your settings and instructions. You are responsible for reviewing results appropriate to their use and deciding which actions may run automatically. The service is not a substitute for professional judgment on safety, legal compliance, product condition, financial decisions, or other matters requiring qualified assessment
Acceptable use
Do not use Goodfolk to break the law, infringe another person’s rights, bypass access restrictions, introduce malicious code, disrupt systems, or obtain information without permission. Do not direct agents to misrepresent products, conceal damage, fabricate evidence, or make unsupported claims. Access to third-party websites and services remains subject to their applicable terms and restrictions
Subscriptions, fees, and cancellation
Your order form or subscription checkout sets out fees, included usage, billing intervals, payment dates, renewal, and cancellation terms. Charges for additional usage must follow the terms you accept. Cancel through the method specified in your agreement before the applicable renewal deadline. Cancellation does not remove payment obligations already incurred. Any refund or cancellation rights required by law remain available
Ownership and permitted use
Goodfolk and its licensors retain rights in the software, website, characters, branding, and other service materials. Your subscription grants access to the service for your business during its term. Subject to third-party rights and applicable law, you may use the results produced for your business. Neither party receives ownership of the other party’s pre-existing intellectual property
Confidentiality and service providers
Each party must protect nonpublic information received from the other and use it only for the business relationship or as the law permits. We may use service providers to deliver the service, including hosting, AI processing, support, and billing. Their access must be limited to the purpose for which they are engaged and subject to applicable contractual obligations. Any additional use of confidential customer content for model training requires express agreement
Third-party services
Goodfolk may connect to services you authorize or link to external websites, including Calendly for scheduling. Those providers operate under their own terms and privacy practices. Their availability, pricing, and decisions are outside Goodfolk’s control. You remain responsible for maintaining any third-party accounts needed for your connected workflows
Availability and suspension
We may update the service and temporarily interrupt access for maintenance, security, or operational reasons. We may suspend access if reasonably necessary to address a material breach, unlawful activity, a security threat, or overdue payment, subject to any notice and cure rights in your agreement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that every error will be detected or corrected
Disclaimers and liability
Except for express commitments in your written agreement and rights that cannot be excluded by law, the service is provided as available without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses. Any liability limits in your signed agreement apply. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded
Ending the service
When access ends, authorization to use the service ends as well. You should export results you need and revoke connected-system permissions where appropriate. Data return, deletion, retention, and continuing confidentiality obligations are governed by your agreement and the Privacy Policy. Obligations that by their nature continue after termination remain in effect
Changes and contact
We may revise these terms and will update the effective date when we do. Material changes will be communicated where required by law or your agreement. Questions about the terms or your service can be sent through your agreed customer contact or the contact link on this website
